Okay, sure, you probably aren’t going to end up as an icicle without a functioning furnace this winter. Still, what’s the point of even having a heating system in your home if it doesn’t work properly? Typically, you can get by just fine by scheduling preventive maintenance for your heating system before the weather gets too cold. All heating systems have an expiration date, though. If your furnace is at the end of its proverbial rope, it’s better that you replace it now than to wait for the winter to get colder. Not sure whether or not your furnace could do with being replaced?
